13b 4-port Questions (gsl-se)
I've seached the forum and read almost every post I could find related to this. I'm sure some of you have seen my other posts looking for the misc. pieces for me to put this project underway. Heres what I'll be using as an inital build up. This is just a side project that I'll be doing after I get a car. (Got a few to check out soon) I'm going to use:
GSL-SE rotor housings
12A END/MID. PLATE(S)
TURBO II E-SHAFT
TURBO II OIL PRESSURE REG. (until I can afford RB)
TURBO II OIL PUMP (until I can afford RB)
SERIES 5 9.7:1 ROTORS
51MM MIKUNI(?) (or are the del. 51mm?) IDA CARBS, SIDE DRAFT (whatever, just 51mm)
RB HARDEND TYPE I FRONT AND REAR STATIONARY GEARS
(Special grooved rear)
I'm going to use the car as a spring/summer driver, its just going to be my "fun car" so I was considering a bridgeport. I know that their extreme and more difficult to drive on the street, and that you need a good clutch, etc. But is it feasible? If its too extreme, its getting a agressive street port at least. Exhaust will also be ported. I know that a few of you have done a simmlar build up of a GSL-SE into a 4-port. I wanted to know your end result, what kind of power to expect. I'll run a full RB exhaust, but probably modify the muffler to something more free flowing. Does anyone know what kind of power this thing should make? I'm thinking at least 230ish, with a bridgeport....i dunno. Suggestions, opinions, and advice are what I need. Thanks for all the help guys!! I have to say I'm really impressed how so many of you have helped me in my search for a good car and have given me a good deal on parts, thanks a million!!
Thank you,
Chris Stahlman
