I bought the engine with about 120,000 miles on it. I had a plan to put it into my '85 gs. Well forget it. I am selling the engine and have someone that wants to buy it. I was told to remove the exhaust manifold so that he can inspect the seals. I was told the engine was rebuilt at 80,000 miles. What should I be looking at, for?


The engine turns over VERY easy.. and when it does you hear a sucktion sound.. is that good? The inside of the engine is black.. i am guessing its from all the carbon over the years. Some of the oil thats still in the engine is very light in color.
