13b -> 12a intake

13b -> 12a intake

was just wondering of a 13b intake manifold (for like a webber) could fit on a 12a motor? i would be willing to do modifications, just wondering how much would have to be done

yes i think you can you have to oblong the mounting holes. I think that I have a manifold for the 13B to a webber.

No.


If you're going side-drafts, you can just buy the upper inake manifold from Racing Beat to fit on your stock lower.

Like the top-half of this pic.

A 13B housing is 10mm longer then a 12A, as a logic consequence, the side housings, and therefor the ports are spaced out further. I thought this would be rather clear to anybody who knows what the 12A and 13B are.
As Directfreak said: you can use the upper half, and get the correct lower half.

settle there buddy. not everyone knows the exact mesurements for the ports on the 12a and 13b

and in alot of cases with cars you can slightly modify something and it will work, have you heard of fabrication?
