12A vs 13B fuel pumps
12A vs 13B fuel pumps
does anyone know what the GPH's are for these pumps? Im trying to decide what to use for my carb project (if i dont get an aftermarket pump) Which would be more appropriate for the carter 625?
You cannot use a fi pump for your carb application. The stock 12a pump will probably not
keep up with fuel demands. To make it run right, you will need to run an aftermarket pump and regulate it around 5psi. rx7doctor

After market EFI.... there are many, but like the man said it will be WAY to much for your carb. figure right around 68 GPH, and 95 PSI shut off for EFI. That is what I run in mine. Stock was about 32 GPH and 48 PSI, with max at 71.1 PSI.

As Cdrad said, carbed pumps pump lower pressures from 4-8psi while FI pumps pump from 40-80 psi! That order of ten magnitude will definitely make FI pumps out of the question for your setup.
