AZ 12a turbo boost gauge help

so as some know im running a stock 12a w/ s4 turbo (bnr stage 1 w/ ported wg), holley 600, fmic, 3"exaust ect.
my boost gauge is plumbed to the carb hat and reading full boost at 6psi and when i went to dyno it they hooked up to the bov(witch is plumbed to the intake) and it was reading 3psi. so what im wanting to know is what should i be going by? should i plumb the gauge to the intake?

the car did 139.9 hp and 144tq but the afrs where hiting the 15's so we stoped. ive sence fixed the lean problem but i want to know what the boost realy is befor tunning to 10psi.

Usually, - The boost gauge is connected to the intake - so you can read Boost AND Vacuum.

My 02 cents.

Agreed. The only pressure that matters is in the manifold. Manifold should read the same to your WG and BOV.

^ Most people run the wastegate line to, or near, the compressor outlet. Though, theoretically, it shouldn't matter.
