12A smokes from tailpipe while in idle .
I susp[ect it's because I fucked around with the big carburetor screw .. and no one can give me a clear answer as to what it does. But all I know is my tailpipe smokes under 3k.
Car has less than 5,000 miles on the rebuilt engine ( 105k total miles)
And about 1000 miles on the rebuilt carb.
Any ideas?

Edit . I feel I am running rich . I tuned my idle to be in spec and turned the Idle mix screw a tiny bit and that eliminated ALL smoke on start up . I shall turn the Idle mix in a bit and then re adjust the idle to be in spec. If I was burning oil the issue would be worse when cold or when going above 3500 RPM BUT it cleans it up. So I suspect that idle mix is rich and combined with premix = smoke.

I solved the smoke on Start up . Today I will do what i wrote once I get home. Revs are 100% to spec. 750-850 In drive and 1000-1100 in park depends on the temp . I will have to adjust the Mix screw to be more lean.
As for timing order . No idea i have a 80's electronic start system , the car starts and runs great except when i don't warm it up .

Adjusted the Carb . Car runs better now ! BUT the car still smokes at idle . It cleans up if i redline the car for about 2 mins then it goes back to smoke. If my oil control rings were blown I feel going up in RPMS would raise the oil preasure and cause more smoke eother during high RPM or right after . Instead it cleans it up . Any ideas ? I'm running light premix . maybe if i add more it will help.
I can find out if its my OCR's by using oil stabalizer , that should clear all smoke out but i still think its a carburation issue

Ok so I toyed around with the carb, I ended up making the issue WORSE, somehow made more white smoke comes out, IT IS NOT Coolant. If it were coolant adjusting the carb wouldn't make it seep in faster or slower. I really need some ones help , the guy who rebuilt my carb won't reply to me ( he is a good guy, just always busy) .
My issue is the car starts fine with little to no smoke and warms up with no smoke, once the engine is warm, the smoke progressively gets worse and worse and if I rev it I get a good gust of smoke before it clears up, as long as i above 2500 RPM for more than 5 seconds the smoke goes away.
Is there any way the auto trans ATF is being sucked up by the engine? I'm not low on coolant and my oil level actually went up a tiny bit and smells a BIT like gas
