12A rotor and stat-gear casting numbers

I have been told that the 84/85 Stat gears and rotors are better than the earlier versions, and have a certain cast mark to designate these are the better ones.

I have piles of each, and beginning to sort through things for cataloging..

I'd like to note which are which..

thanks

on my 84/85 rotors there is a N in the combustion part of the rotor, on the older ones there is just the F or R markings. i dont see any markings on the front stat gears but on the rear they say 3743 on all the ones i have.
