12a re-con question???
i blew my un modified 12a non turbo up and am currently pulling the engine out to fully recondition it, allthough it only really needs some new seals and gaskets i want to find out the most suitable ways of porting, and modding it up without turbo-charging it. what are the diferant seal ranges, and im looking at a new diff and clutch, flywheel etc.
it is a oct 83 84 limited addition 12a turbo rx7, its in beautiful condition and im proud to be the owner of such an amazingly designed built sports car. i am the 3rd owner and the second put a standard 12a in which curently has 161,000km. id be greatly open to any suggestions, advice and comments. greatly appreciated.
Oliver.

Welcome to the forum and the Darkside.
Stock oem seals are probably your best choice for apex seals down under, even if you do turbo it again. Porting will depend on how much driveability you wish to maintain. A streetport will keep it very close to stock with more power. Anything past that tends to reduce average driveability.
In my sig line is a link to the online FSMS and other rotary related reading.
