12A Ignition work on S5 13B?

Im not completely sure if the dist. will fit an S5 13B engine. If not, what parts would I need to make it work? Thanks

PS, It would have a GSL-SE front cover, so i guess thats really what matters.

It will fit. I got one to fit in a 20B. As long as the engine has a hole for a CAS, it will fit a distributor too.

Ok thanks. I wasnt sure if the gear on the eshaft was the right design to accept it or whatever else. Im wanting to put an S5 n/a into an fb/sa chassis and carb it. So i was justp lanning ahead and seeing what I will and will not need.

Also while Im asking, If I go RacingBeat exhaust. What exactly would I need to do to make it fit? an S5 header on a 12A midpipe back? Would it bolt up with no welding, or would this be a muffler shop welding project?

RB sells 13B headers made to fit the SA/FB chassis. An FC header likely will not hook up to a 12A mid-pipe.

Ah, I thought I recalled seeing something like that a year or two ago when I was looking around. So a 13B fb/sa chassis header with a 12A fb/sa exhaust. Sounds good
