12A ID and rear end removal

Two quick questions before I head to the junkyard this weekend...

1) Figuring someones pulled the engine already is there any way to identify if the car was originally 12A or 13B powered?

2) Easiest way to pull the entire rear end assembly? (diff/brakes/axles/suspension)

1. the only ones that came 13B from the factory will have a vin of JM1FB332, 331 is a 12A

2. its not hard, pretty obvious. check the bolt size on yours, i think they are 21mm on the rear links? 17mm's on the watts. if you find a disc rear, get the ebrake cables too
