12a flywheel compatability

I was just wondering if the 12a flywheels and 13b flywheels are cross compatible?

I know this should be an easy one to answer, I searched but couldn't find anything.

Thanks!

the flywheels have the counterweight built in so if you put the flywheel on the wrong motor you will have bad engine vibration from not being balanced

So the flywheel must match the rotors and the e-shaft to maintain proper balance? Unless of course the rotating parts are rebalanced.

umm for the price of re-balenceing might as well get a lightweight flywheel and a nice clutch.. unless u live close to RB or sumpthing..

I believe...

that the flywheel has to match the front weight, but not the rotors. If you go to the Mazdatrix web page they have a set of flywheel photos with text that says what goes with what.

Good luck

I thought that it was the front weight and flywheel that had to be matched.

I don't live that far from RB but still I'm too poor to have the parts balanced.
