Hey all,

Have some questions regarding the 12a 6 port air filter...what do they look like? :P Got any pictures?

Anyone know where I could buy one from too?

Cheers

They're just like the stock blue ones except it's black with orange writing saying "Mazda 6-port Rotary" or something like that on them.

You'll have better luck finding one on ausrotary.com probably since the 6-port 12a never made it to the shores of North America (where the vast majority of the ppl here are from).

Hi there.
I am from the Netherlands.
i did research on this matter to long ago as i was after a aircleaner assembly for the 12A 6 port.I did understand that only japan and the USA got these engines in the first gen. Some must have imported to Australia from japan maybe.I am looking for years to buy on off these air assemblys with no luck.I have plenty off pics off them.I saw 1 for sale on ebay from a guy in Florida i think last year.

Good luck with the search.

PS: they came in 2 colours.
black or mazda blue.
I will try to make repro stickers for the lid.Mail me: iff you want: maury_wiels@yahoo.com

I don't know where you heard that but North America (So Canada, the USA and Mexico) never got a 6-port 12a.

We got a 4-port 12a and then in 84-85 we got a Fuel Injected 6-port 13b called the GSL-SE
