Never have tried a weber on a 7. Probably never will. Perfectly satisfied with my Sterling carb and I just don't see any room for improvement...

This spring I'll be running my new Weber 48 IDA on my newly rebuilt street port by RPM.

Weber cause it's the only aftermarket carb that I have experience with...and it's a very good experience.

Do a search for Sterling Nikki on here. He mods the stock carb for about the price of a Holley 465 and reportedly gives about the same results, with better flow characteristics for the primaries and secondaries. The people that have them have been very happy with them, and I am just waiting on mine to show up. Also try Mikuni, Weber, Dellorto.
