The $500 '84

Hey guys, I've been lurking for a while and now I've got a question. I found a non-running '84 around my area for $500. I have yet to contact the seller but assuming the engine's just been sitting for a while how hard would it be to get it going again?

I'm looking around for a car and I don't really have any problems with buying one that needs a little work... Hell I want to learn about cars anyway.

Read the first gen FAQ in this forum. It'll show you a few threads on that subject, as well as carbon-lock *shudder*

If anyone has any imput (yeah we have search buttons but some things do get overlooken) I'd be glad to hear it.
