Your First Rx......

What was your first Rx-7 and what model was it? mine was a 85 GS, Glass sunroof! woop. it came with enkei aftermarket wheels too, one was bent so i had the stockers up front.


i've had many Rx7s through the years but i think i liked that one the most. what did you guys first find?

The same 80 I've got now.

Bought it in 1989, still my one and only automotive love. Haven't ever needed more than one.

mine was a primer colred 85 S. it was originally sunrise red. the only nice part of the car was the interior...the wheel wells were so bad that the car flexed on take off and in between shifts. i ended up parting it and what was left went to teh scrapper..i wish i still had the car because now i would restore it.

My first was/is still with me. She was first tornado gray with a 12A LSD rear end, 4 disc brakes, and 1982 stylin' ... now she's being rebuilt on a 1984 frame, same suspension/drivetrain, new engine and light gray...

My first RX was a pretty tired 1984 GS, body was clean, but it leaked oil, coolant and exhaust. I beat that sucker into oblivion. I have no pics but it looked exactly like this one:
