windscreen weatherstripping -85 FB
Hello guys!
Im Robin and im new to this forum. I recently bought myself a -85 Rx7 FB that has gone through a windscreen replace by the previous owner, but the weatherstripps for the "covers" were mostly rotten, and i also seem to be missing a few of them.
so i was planning on changeing them, but it seems like they aren't sold by mazda anymore.. And i can't seem to find them anywhere. Has anyone here used somekind of universal stripping and made them fit or do i really need theese at all?
Have a nice day guys, and happy new year!
/Robin.

Damn, it did start!
I'm not certain, but I believe the rubber trim you are looking for was for reduction of rattling for the trim pieces. My intent is to find some "U" channel silicon channeling to use.
something like this perhaps:
Silicone Edging Strips | Silex Silicones Ltd

Or as you suggested, buy some U shaped universal rubber, that would also work
