http://www.warthog.com/mailman/listinfo/sa22c gets a DNS error. So did http://www.warthog.com/. I'm guessing there are server problems, again. That happened a year or so ago.

I emailed Kevin a while back. He said they were having server problems.
I miss the group. Hope they get it sorted out. Maybe we all need to send a contribution.

Last time I checked it was in 1998. That's when I found out about the rubber thing to stabilize the rear view mirror.

With forums, an email list like that isn't really needed. What's discussed there that hasn't here already? I'm curious since I haven't checked it for like ten years.

The lists were around long before the various forums. Many of the things discussed here were discussed there years ago. Not to say there is nothing new here. There is plenty. The forums store the info much better than most of the list search sites. Mail lists are not very efficient today. Don't know that the list is "needed" but there is a core group that has been there forever. I miss hearing from them.

Interesting to learn of the technological approach that thrived before the explosion of forum technology. Hate to think there might be wise and entertaining Rx-7 drivers / fans that roam the lists instead of participating in this forum.

Don't think we are all talking about the same List...?
Some sharp, well informed, ready-to-help folks there (and here, of course). Always open to any and all thoughtful discussions of RX7 - and I get that on the SA22C List too.
Hope it pops back into my daily email.
Thanks for info Attila, 74RX4

There are. Just as some of the posts in this thread exhibit a certain scorn for mail lists and their devotees, some of the posts to the lists (I participate in several) exhibit scorn for the forum(s) and their devotees. Richard Miller's posting form, though aimed at lists, applies equally well to the forum. The three big advantages for the forums over the lists are the ability to include graphics, a faster pace and a searchable archive.

two different lists all together, I find the forums superior to any list, but nostalgia makes me miss them. It reminds me of a classic car type of a guy, Hid 1953 Desoto was "the best car ever made" but he'll only drive it in a parade. His 2004 Buick is his daily driver.
