I agree they would look cool hanging on a wall but as far as styling goes they look heavy and kinda ugly. Anyone besides a rotor head would not appreciate the rims and would probally make fun of them. (not that I really care...)

The last set I saw on Ebay went for about $500. That costs more then the car itself.

How are they rice? The were obviously made for that car in general.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind having a set of those wheels. They would match my air cleaner top.
But, due to the average asking price when a set is offered for sale, I guess I will just stick with the Ronal's I have on it now.

I'm not saying they are rice however take into consideration they have no functional purpose other than aesthetics. They are anovelty nothing else. They probably weigh a ton (IDK for sure though) they will not let much air into the brakes they cost quite a bit for what looks to be a 15 or 16 (again IDK for sure). maybe rice isnt the right word but it is the closest to the right word

Nope you dont know what your talking about those wheels came in 13's only and are very hard to find now. Back in the day those wheels were on many of the then old school cars ei: rx2,rx3's and I even saw them on datsuns back then. The last set I saw went for over $700. on ebay!

I don't think they were even really available here in the states. Ian knows more about these than myself.

I thought custom wheels had 2 primary reasons for being added to a car.
1 looks
2 different tire size choices

These are not really "Custom" wheels, as they were actually an optional stock wheel in certain parts of the world. As such, number 2 is nullified. Making number 1 that much more important. And the looks of these are certainly unique, as unique as the engines themselves.

i remember wanting a set of those wheels so bad when i was younger. i guess if i had money now, i'd still get some, but it would only be for the sake of having them. they've lost their natural appeal to me now.

and no ... they were never "officially" in the US.

I kinda like the rotor wheels. Unique being the key to my likeness. I just like unique things...that's why I drive my 7.

lol...i guess it's an island thing being latin and and from puerto rico those are like gold over there...And i for one would not have a problem rocking them...those rims are sick...
Those rims were not manufactured here in the states they were made out of japan and imported in...I also think puerto rico and ausi were making them as well...
but yes those rims rock and are one of a kind...wish i had a pair...
