ya handheld camera .. not sure if you've been to a lapping session, but its all fairly safe, no lapping people on corners only on straight aways and have to be signalled by the person he's about to lap.
I've been to several lapping sessions. None allowed a hand held camera. A hand held camera becomes a loose flying object, should anything occur that wasn't planned. I saw 2 cars that did unplanned moves, on your video, taken with a hand held camera. One of them did it right in front of you.
Point made.

I'm not busting your chops, just pointing out what I feel was an unsafe item. I make a point to mention the ban on hand held camera's inside cars during the drivers meeting at every local autox, since I am the one who runs the meeting.
If you plan to have in-car footage, look into either making a camera mount, or getting a small camera to mount on your helmet, and put the camera/recorder in the console or storage bin. Even just tying the camera down somewhere inside the car can prevent it from becoming a loose object. If you were to have a spin, the person holding the camera could drop it while trying to grab for something to hold on to.
Now back to regularly schedualed programming......
