NO!

Just a lil advice though is hide the light so u can't see the bulb itself so the glow is all you see and not the bulb

Its not permanent. I would NEVER put underglow on my car. haha.

It is just for *****. The neon is a circular ring made for a 12" speaker. haha.

/facepalm

I remember when I used to think the neon stuff was cool. Whenever I get to feeling like my ***** don't stink any more, I remind myself I used to be that guy.

That said, Enjoy being the age you are, P-dude; you can get away with enjoying stuff that we older folk just can't!

I like that kind of stuff. And old folk can enjoy some flash. Some of those UFO kits I have seen are cool. As long as it's a good stealth install so that it's an occasional thing. Can't have colored light kits while moving in Texas anyway.

It's for the beach when the beer is flowing and the beads are being handed out for that quick flash. And no it's cool for old farts too.

I used to be into the lighting scene and still kind of am.

I made some nice headlights with LEDs, cupholders, etc back in my day with multiple patterns and such. It looked sweet.

They can look great if done correctly and tastefully. Not going overboard or choosing stupid colors or multiple colors at a time. Looks too busy.

I will maybe be putting a soft white on the interior for some accent lighting that can turn on with the doors open or a switch. Trust me, it will be tasteful.

haha, cupholder LEDs. Nice one.

Keep in mind, I was 14 or 15 when I did this to my Eclipse. And no, the Eclipse was not "riced", it was a stock body with Avenger wheels on it. Then it died and I got the 7 and love it.

Heres a video of the cupholders;

The only vehicles that should glow are real UFOs.

None of the lights are permanent. lol

At least mine isnt 'riced' too. It is a light blue car with blue neon. Not a brown car with yellow neon or somthing like that.

Personally I thought it looked cool. I might actually get them later in life on my SA. They are more for when I go to car shows/meets and we are just hanging out. I would never have them on when driving.

There is this thing called a Meteor by Logisys computers.

I used to have an account with them (and still may, I'm not sure) and I picked a few up to play with.

After taking one apart and figuring out how it worked, I hooked the controller up to my LEDs and the cupholder was made.

There are a lot more controllers out there, I will hopefully be picking one up in the next month to play with again.

As soon as I get my new website designed and up, I will be having Tutorials for RX7's (with contributions by members) and other random tutorials. Ill make sure to make one for those who are interested. Same with adding LED turn signals. I have to finish that project.

when fast and furious came out i was a little kid and i thought neons where the ****!...but i very quickly grew out of it and realized how pointless they are. with that said i do have some leds in/on my car i didn't have any windshield nozzles so i found some with bluish/whitish lightbulbs on them for a buck haha, and i used to have leds inside because my cluster lights had shorted out.
