Two FBs to be put out at the vegas pic n pull

They are waiting for the titles so they can put them out, there is a clean s4 FC also. One is a Blue FB that looked very nice from about 100ft, as close as I could get.

It is a shame how many clean and rust free 7s we crush here on the West coast. In the past 6 months I have seen some nice cars including two all original spark yellows that are in better condition then most on the road, dashes not even cracked. I think it is just funny how people post on the forum looking for these cars or go to great lenghts to keep theres on the road while better examples sit at a pic n pull.

I guess I just get a bit disgusted when clean examples are still scrapped even as they are now 25+ years old.

tell them to send them to the east instead of crushing them. haha, i have been to lots of junk yards and i've only found 1 first gen, 84 se, no engine, interior and all the "most wanted" parts stripped.. we need more haha.

I have only seen one also. Mostly 2nd gens. If I lived on the west coast, I would have like 30 cars.

They are getting thin on the ground in California though. At Pick-n-Pull this week I saw only one marginal FB. Last year at this time, there were three or four of them.
Find a parts car and save it somewhere, because they won't last forever.

Space is the key, you can pick up most non runners for less than $500. All I ask for is a half acre and no one to complain about the collection.

well, I know many times they will sell "builders", I think once they go into the yard though it is pretty much over. My buddy and I found a straight rx2 coupe once in Sacramento. They had agreed to sell it, but I was between jobs at the time and he didnt have room. The Yellow SAs were a heart break this year.

I have a home in Nor-Cal with about an acre, I know of a few SAs that I would like to grab.

As for the Vegas Pick n Pull. If you go to the one on Lamb and walk to the very end were the cars that have not been set out. Get as close to the fence as you can, there is a clean looking S4, gold in color. I stood on top of one of the wheel barrows and was able to see the the 2 fbs beside it. I guess you could talk to them, alot of times the people at the wrecking yards are dicks though.

Once they are cleared to be put out, they will puncture the gas tanks and drain all of the fluids, and chop the cats off. Also, first gen fenders get crunched at the bottom when placed on the jackstands made of old rims. That would be cool if someone could save a few.

Huh i'll have to check it out. There were yellow SA's at the junker? In my neighborhood awhile ago there were two of them, I left a note on them and they never contacted me. One day they were gone, it had to be them.
