Really need help here , I was doing some tranny work on 81 FB and removed the control valve body to check it , as I was unscrewing it and detaching it a pin came out its about 2 inches long and I don't know where it goes I also opened the control valve to see if I could figure it out and also notice a spring and I'm not sure where that goes , any help would be greatly appreciated thank you .

Thank you that was the first placed I checked even though they gave me a lot of information nothing specific to the valve.
