The Past, Present & Future of Mazda Motorsports
While covering the release of the new TCR Mazda 3, the company displayed some of their old race cars to establish history.
The photographer was able to get some nice shots of the interior and was able to have the hood opened. The engine is tucked further back.
With the rear floor cut out the suspension can be seen.

Super cool.
The engine looks to be built with Mazda Factory Race parts "MFR". Those are peripheral port housings and I'm sure a lot of MFR parts inside. Cool to think Mazda sold those parts back in the day. They are worth $$$ now.

Thanks for posting that article! I just bookmarked it to read over later and gain inspiration on my future build plans. Very cool to see all the ducting done between the radiator and hood setup, as well as the brake ducting. Tons of intricate details that the photographer captured, and a rare look inside an RX-7 with that much racing history.
