I don't believe they're made anymore. I need some myself. Good luck.

I found a pass. tailight on Ebay with a gasket that is in good shape. Told the seller to keep the light and send me the gasket. Now I need to find the drivers side and I'm covered.

I don't think you can get the outer one anymore. I looked for ages when replacing my lights and in the end decided not to put anything on there. You get used to not seeing it there and doesn't seem to affect the lights in any way

As for the inner one, the one between the body and the light unit, again I don't know of anyone that makes the correct shaped seal for it.

I just used some rubberised foam strip from a local rubber store that has a sticky backing on one side.

It came from a roll and was available in various widths and thickness. I just chose the correct width and thickness and stuck the sticky side onto the light unit, then bolted it back onto the car and it hasn't leaked one bit.

Cam...

Actually there is a picture of the gaskets on page 83, but if you look closer you will see that they don't actually sell the gaskets...

They are out of production. That could be a useful list. Out of production list. Someone should start a thread.

A little dab of RTV will work. Us in the old school row are in the same scenario.

I went to Home Depot to there electrical section... they sell this stuff called "duct seal". It is like playdoh and stays pliable. On my SA I used it to seal the taillight housing in.

Works MUCH better that even a stock gasket could do. Works really good at keeping exhaust fumes out.

Yes!!! Definately will be trying that. My stock gasket really isnt helping with the exhaust. I used to not have a gasket, and at one point didnt even have a tailight there, that exhaust is potent as hell. I found myslef with my head out my window for most of the time I was driving.

I would probably buy one of those oversize "gamer" mousepads made from thin neoprene, and cut a new gasket out of that. The originals were a soft sponge rubber of about the same consistency.
