tachometer help

Hey does anyone know where the tachometer ground is in a 85 gsl ? the tachometer is going hay wire, turning off/on constantly. The info will be a big help. Instead of tracing wires.

sometimes if you have a bad connection on the coils / ignition the the tach will go batshit randomly. give everything a once over up there, also.

Is your car stock? have you changed anything on the ignition? As Mr Miles said, a lot of times the problem is at the coils, not the gauge itself...
