Suspension choices

So the time and the money are at last being saved to completion and the time has come for me to get a set of springs on the 7 that have more recoil and bounce to them than my grandmother's underwear elastic bands. I'm fairly sure what I have are the factory originals with 173k on them.

I'm thinking of getting:

Tokico Standard (HP) Strut Cartridge x 2
Tokico Standard (HP) Strut Cartridge x 2
1979-85 RX-7 Suspension Package x 1
SUSP BUSH URETHANE - FRONT CONTROL ARM
SUSP BUSH URETHANE - TENSION ROD

Questions for the wiser than I (shameless flattery involved there, yes):

1. Are the sway bars worth the extra $300 or should I just pull the stock rear bar off and have done with it?
2. Is the added adjustability worth the extra $300 for Illuminas rather than Standard HP's? I don't do track with the car and the most I ever plan on doing is maybe AutoX next season.
3. Are there any other components (bushings, etc...) I would need to get to replace the suspension completely/correctly while I have the car in the garage and the wheels off?

Id say get the sway bars. They sure made things much more stable in corners. I have no experience with the luminas but standards are great. I also have the poly bushings and they are great too. I'd just get it all done while you are under there

Sway bars, you are on your own. They may stiffen the cornering, although I have not changed mine out yet. I hear they are a GREAT upgrade.

As far as Illumina's/Blues, I would go for blues. They are basically the same as stock only a little bit stiffer on the bump rebounds. Great shocks, I run them.

Get the whole suspension techniques bushing set from respeed. You can't go wrong there Plus much more predictable handling.
