I wonder what it was rated to. I know that Mazdatrix just sold thier dragster and Atkins Rotarys is for sale as well. Looks like it was well built and I am sure his reserve was way lower than what it would cost to build. Just have to be careful of rules changes that can make a car illegal to run

 

i'm too poor to purchase it now, going to grad school in the fall. Oh well, I like corners too much to spend money on a drag car right now. maybe in the future it'd be something fun to mess around with.

Actually if you are any good you could probably get it into the high 8s easy enough. It is alot of fun and truth be told I don't have time to get scared, usually my adrenalin is running so hard during the burn out and staging that I have to a quick calm or I will red light. Just take a big deep breath right before breaking the first light and then slide her in. Once the light comes on I don't think I breathe until I hit the chute. It is very addictive and expensive, that is why I don't currently have a RUNNING dedicated drag car.
