Was an excellent day.
Slideshow of my pix is here:

Saw some really gorgeous cars, made some more new friends (including Mr. Peepers' 'dad'!), met up with a couple guys from previous shows too (Mike, Kris, Allen among others) and had just a wonderful time.
Gonna be a long wait til next year, heh.

As it turned out, not looking through a view-finder, afforded me the chance to just BS with a a bunch of cool rotorheads.
Biggest and best turn-out of Sevens and Eights i can remember, especially the 40 first gens, and most of those were first timers.
Justice reigns -- CONGRATS to DivinDriver on a well deserved Best First-Gen RX-7 award (cool rotor trophy bling!). Hard work and passionate perseverance creating the most unique and desirable original 12A.
Thanks for posting pics!

I am having a little trouble finding a jeweler who can mount a neck-chain to that bling, so I can wear it everywhere I go, but other than that, life's been good.

totally agree that this years was so much fun and had so much to see. i really feel i did not have enough time to see and meet as many cars and owners as i wanted to. although i did meet a few really cool people and seeing so many first gens in one place was really cool (i was the guy with the only gold FB)
hopefully next year ill get to go again and stick around the first gen crowd more! ill post up my pics soon

Gracias, Stu; Your assistance with my lil projects was up there with me!
Secret? What secret? Take 'em out, chemically strip'em clean of old paint, spray with several light coats Duplicolor "Trim Black", then carefully wipe the raised sections with a rag misted with brake cleaner until the chrome shows through.
You have to refresh them occasionally. They live in a harsh environment.
