screwed up my DLIDFIS... ballast resistor question

while trashing 90% of my wiring harness i took out all the wiring to my dist. because of the DLIDFIS install.... when i took it all out i looked at how the little ballast resistor on the dist. was wired in and like an idiot tried to just remember it ( i do remember it was wired in fairly easily) now 2 weeks down the road i am trying to wire it all up and for the life of me i can't remember how the ballast resistor was tied in to the factory wiring for the ignitors.... i wanna say it was just tied into the "B" connectore on the trailing ignitor but i can't be sure......... CAN SOMEONE HELP ME?!?!??!??!?!!!!!

come to think of it i really don't know if it is infact a ballast resistor... it is the single bullet style plug on the dizzy beneath the vacuum port thingy mado's that keeps the radio from having interference i believe

Just as you thought it is not a ballast resistor. It is a noise suppression thingy. Not overly critical part.

wiring would be in the FSM -> http://www.iwankel.com/index.php?opt...d=48&Itemid=59

yeah i have been trying to decipher the wiring diagram in the FSM, i was just hoping for a quick answer.... but i always manage to screw up the the things that noone else messes with.... guess thats why noone messes with it!!!!.... i just had a thought.... I have the radio hard wired to the battery so when i hit the master cut off on the car the radio doesn't lose all of it's memory... with the radio not running through the factory harness will it be effected anyway?
