i saw an article in grassroots motorsports that mentioned this cartoon. i thought it was pretty cool it had an sa in it and it shows the rotary. all i can understand them saying is "rx7" and "rotary" lol. too bad it lost

Lol, Yoroshiku Mechadoc! Talk about old school anime! This was a mid-80's anime IIRC, but the manga is from like 1982 or something! It was like the original Wangan Midnight or Initial D.

Speed racer was Japanese (Mach Go Go Go) but what is remarkable was that it ran on TV almost 20 years before this one... man this animation sucks... lol

 

It's also made by the same studio that did Speed Racer, Tatsunoko. You can also here them saying "Zeto" (their way of saying the English Zed) and Dabu Eksu (for Celica "double-X"); and of course, "ni-to-ro pawa".

I've been hunting for this one. The only place I found was Amazon.com Japan, but it's about $600 for the set and they charge an insane amount for shipping. I'm not that interested.

Look on Youtube for "A Tutto Gas", it's Mechadoc dubbed in Italian. That's the best I could find.

 

only if they had good cartoon car shows in canada. all we had was pokemon, digemon and bayblades.
