I wish they were in TX, if the price was right I'd be all over it.

Well...they said a mechanic said it needed a new engine when they took it in to get the oil changed? How could it have made it there if it wasnt running????......It might be one of those situations where the mechanic didnt know nothing about the majic that is the rotary...........just a thought

I wonder why it doesn't run... If this car is under 3k it's be a steal for an enthusiast, the body and interior on that car look amazing.

it runs, just uses coolant. has coolant leak somewhere. mechanic prolly thought the coolant seals are bad. could be something else. good price though.

And I quote why it doesn't "run" or the engine is "bad" from the Questions and Answers from the E-Bay site:

Q: if it is a gsl-se it should have the three-rotor engine (13b). Can you please put up some under-hood pictures? Jan-10-08

A: It does have the three-rotor engine (13b). Thanks for yor suggestion about adding under-hood pictures. I added pictures as you suggested. Check them out....more
Because the guy doesn't know what he is talking about!!! Yes it has a 3 rotor engine 13B.

I think the guy deserves to get ripped off by his "mechanic". Since the guy doesn't know what he has, someone that would appreciate it deserves to ****** that car up. Just my opinion.

I still wonder what's really wrong with that car. I hope whoever wins that auction is a member of this forum. I just don't see how it can go from it's spring oil change to needing a new engine. Of course with that low of miles over 23 years who knows how much crap could have been built up in that engine. Either way, the chassis is in amazing condition.

I'm guessing that it's just flooded, and the "leaking coolant" is a red herring.

It's up to $4k... Even at that price if it needs an engine rebuild it'd still be worth it.

Someone e mail this guy, and tell him the price is waaay to high and you had the same problem, and the only person who could buy the car lived in Canada, for $1000, and give them my address to ship the car to.

$4K and the people don't know anything about the rotary. Ignorance is bliss, I guess.

Well the price of this non-running car makes me feel a whole lot better about paying $3k for a GSL-SE w/ 65k miles that runs perfectly.
