Mosport is the legendary race track about an hour's drive northeast of Toronto, the original home of the Canadian Gran Prix before it moved to Montreal, scene of monster Can-Am battles and Fangio even raced there! One of our local club members races and organizes an annual charity lapping event in support of Sick Children's Hospital where participants go out on fast parade laps during the lunchtime break. This is the last year that we will have access to the historic big track for this event so I had to capture it on video.

There was a delay due to an accident with a flammable Corvette which is why I appear to be a little impatient. It has been a few years since I've been on the track and I frankly stunk and should have signed up for the beginner group that went on later. That's why I pitted after only 2 laps because I felt guilty about holding up the people behind me.

It's a fast and dangerous track, many fatalities in its storied life.

It was a blast! Jim, I was the red 2nd Gen Vert parked beside you. I must say your car was amazing! Driving Mosport was amazing! Thanks for posting pictures!
