I have been looking at doing something to the rear window and have come to a conclusion. Don't do it. It makes the rx7 look too much like a 280 zx. I do believe tint is the way to go.

 

I agree. Recently picked up an 85 SE which had the louvers since new. I think it dates the car so I removed them. But they did do their job, the rear deck carpet and plastic panels look like new since they were protected from the sun for almost 30 years.

 

If you are done with the louver set i would be interested in snagging the hardware off of you.

 

No way, keep the the louvers. The fb is the only one they look great on. Here's mine.
