Does anyone make rear fender inserts?? I've heard it was a problem with the first gen.s fenders rusting out and mine have done just that.

I'm just trying to find a cheap alternative to buying a welder right away and doing the fab work right now (Buying a house).

 

I live in Indiana and there are a few junk yards locally with 1st gens. There is a place called Kyger Automotive...

Here is one of the pair I bought - nice quality, shape looks right. Those Brits seem to be pretty good at this since everything there is in a permanent state of decomp.

that is one sharp loking panel. looks perfect as far as fitment will be concerned. just a little cutting and welding and you're in business!
