Pristine!
I will one day, but for high school it's fine, plus, I have I have zero money, and my parents won't let me have a job until first semester is over :/ one day though, she will hopefully be all original once again
Do what you like Jake, but from one LS owner to another, I think your British Green / Wire Wheel, Jaguar-like low-mileage beauty is a rare creation and worthy of a lot of attention. I'm looking forward to seeing it in person some day.
Cheers!

I finally had an opportunity to get some photos of my car. I put it in storage before I had a digital camera! I will get some interior shots soon.
As far as my orginal request about who has the nicest 1st gen, I think it would have to be broken down by year because so far there have been some very nice cars showing up.
Micksters 1985 GS and I also Mack123's 1984 GS-LSE.
Granted that I am patial - but besides my wheels I would have to say I might have the 1982 GSL candidate!

Fred - she's a beaut - and I am no FB lover. Color is just right and your engine compartment is clean enough to eat off of. Welcome and thanks for posting.
Jake - you certainly have a great LS to start with, but unless your maintaining it as-is as a shrine to the previous owner, you could (IMHO) go a long way to its resurrection by losing those wheel covers and the seat covers!
"Old School" is cool, but this is more "Old Dude"
But a caveat! _IF_ those funky covers are the Mazda USA-spec'd RX7 covers (yes folks Mazda USA actually offered these as an accessory!), then DO hang onto them for posterity!!! We can all show you how to round up the correct pieces once you have some coin...

Thank you for the compliment Stu, but a seam in the driver'sseat has come apart and its cracking, so those are actually for protection lol. And for some reason, I REALLY like those wheel covers, and they are correct mazda accessory ones, because they were on the bill of sale from the dealer, which was in NY, so she's come a long way. Don't worry, one day this beauty will be all original, hopefully half as nice as mike's, but for now, she's perfect

what ever floats yer boat Jake! For sure you have a totally unique, one-of-a-kind RX7. I have slapped enough, er, unusual OEM RX7 bits on my Sa too, so I won't judge your taste. You might want to keep the Bill of Sale handy at an RX7-meet to explain the wheel covers... will certainly be a conversation piece.
cheers

Glen, like the hood props, door pannels & map pockets, fan switch ****, center dash vents and interior material choices, the passenger door mirror was incorporated into the final version of the 79 N/A model, sometime around Jan 79. Earlier cars only had the drivers side.
also we have a 3/78 car out here that has the dealers reciept for having it added after purchase due to later 79's and 80's having one. If you saw it there is no doubt it is the match for the drivers side
