It's also not 'JDM,' since there was never an SE model sold in Japan and the steering wheel is on the correct side.

Still, $1500 for a SE is pretty good, providing that it runs.

It runs. Has a pulsation damper leak at the engine (I thought SE's had their damper at the fuel pump?) I literally just got off the phone with the seller. He had just put a good deal of money into it and now sounds fed up with the car hence the price. Someone from Gainesville is heading to him right now. If they don't pick it up, I probably will.

Suspiciously low priced for a clean SE. Unless it's a rust bucket you should be able to get a lot more.

If you pick it up, here's a pulsation damper fix:

The Peritrochoid: Fuel Damper Leak Repair

The car is very local to me; let me know if you come down to see it.

He hasn't called or sent me a text so I assume the guy from Gainesville is taking it. I just sent him a follow up email to see.

Darn. That would have been a find.

I've always wanted to own an SE, just for the engine. I think the best 1st gen would be the SE drivetrain in an SA shell.
