I did a thing this winter. I got some inserts from pineapple racing. Best bang for the buck I've done. Keep in mind, I'm the guy that likes it mostly stock. I want enough pop to have fun, but still want reliable.
ook, so blocking the rectangle opening in the lower intake gasket. Went to dollar tree got a cheap aluminium cookie sheet. Next I cut 2 rectangles,just a little bigger. (Buy the 3 piece gasket, don' cheap out there) Using jb weld stuff, Seat them in between the layers.I set a beer bottle to pressure so it could cure. Don' crushed the gasket. Next tip, make all the other gaskets your self. Making paper template, then cutting your own from the correct material. This way, you get exact matching to all openings. I used 1/8 cork gasket for both sides of throttle body spacer. Finally, smoothing n polishing the runners. I used different diameter of old hose, with different grade of scotch brute glued around it. It takes a little mix n match to get diameter correct. Using honing oil, n lots of patience, I was able to get a very smooth surface.
