i wouldn't use one of those that has the screen that comes out and flips up. it'll just block ur heater/ac controls. if u go the double din route, get those that have the touch screen and nav built in. mine is like dave's only it's a sony head unit.

I went the single din route, but I massaged the center console to fit the head unit with a couple of gauges instead of a separate panel.

Looking nice guys. Here is a pic of how i bought the car.I did not do this.I am liking the idea of a double din,but i think it would look better with a single din and gauges ontop.

I'd like to see some more stereos as well. My car is in a dire need for a new deck and speakers, but I've yet to see a stereo I like the look of.

here is the only pic i have right now. i used a regular mounting kit, then put carbon fiber across the bottom to fill the hole. looks better than the cheap plastic mount kit.

Thanks! It was a pain cutting 3/5” from both sides making it fit center. But with this new payer I’m able to change the color to perfectly match the rest of the gauges. Has a stock-ish look. I'm still molding the a-pillar for the gauge pod. I didn't look right just bolting it to the a-pillar.

the way i set up mine was very simple, and looks nearly as good as jete's.. basically I used the bottom of the old single din plastic that i had, made 2 pieces of aluminum to put at the top left and right and put it in. I'll post a pic of it.. but i'm not sure if it would work as well on an SA
