I need some pics of cars painted in a two tone. Color and black.


My SA will be going to paint in the next few days and I need some ideals.

Here is a mock up my wife did.

 

just my .02:

1. I think the headlight covers should be black like the rest of the top, they look kind of out of place all red like that

2. I think a dark candy green instead of the red would look really sick with a black top

Lastly, where'd you find the FB lines to color? That would be a really sweet tool to use in photoshop to mock up a BUNCH of different color schemes (i'm painting mine soon as well)

I am going to go with a scheme a lot like this when i repaint the SA:

I like your idea but I'm not a fan of the offset colour'd headlight covers. It just screams 'look at me, I'm a headlight!' Neat idea though.

im painting mines hopefully this week as well... just as soon as i get the pass. door on and do alittle bit of body work... i too am doing black and red, but im just doing the side pilars and roof black the rest will be red, the mirrors will be black as well.... cant wait to see your car finished!
