so i was bored, decided to give my 7's rims a facelift. whatcha think?

dupont gloss black enamel with the dupont clear enamel. you gotta love aircraft stripper. made my job so easy, and ended up costing about 22 dolars total. i diddnt even have to polish the lip. im glad it came out as good as it did.

no 12's, just a lonly pair of 10's with 600 watts. bumps pretty good. i love the way a hatch hits. my bro-in-law wants me to put it on a drag strip with a v8. i said no way in hell. its an 83 limited edition.

took about 6 hours, a toothbrush, 2 cans of aircraft stripper, 2cans of black, 2 cans of clear. no sanding required. also had to get a roll of blue trim tape. thats all

Man, those LE wheels look great polished! I have a set I'm going to work on this winter. What length lug bolts, or studs are you guys using??

Unfortunately, I didn't receive lug bolts with the wheels, and the bolts from the more common oem wheels are too short for the LE wheels. I just thought someone might know the length. I've searched several times, but haven't found a definitive answer.

If the regular ones are too short then get a set of the ones for the SA waffle wheels. They are a bit longer.

Stock wheel bolts have always worked fine for me. I have 3 sets of these on my RX-7s and RX-4. It is a pain to get the standard bolts started due to the deep recesses they go into. I just use a deep well socket to remove and install. I believe the LE models had bolts with the same length threaded section but longer heads.
