New 3D Printer from Dremel; making replacement parts getting closer
I think within a couple years it's going to be affordable to use 3D printers to make restoration interior trim parts.
When a mainstream company like Dremel steps in to the space, you know the concept is ready to grow explosively.

This particular machine is pretty limited, in size and resolution of output as well as material. But competition will hopefully push those envelopes outward.
What Don Lancaster first called "the Santa Claus machine" is getting closer. Can't wait.

i have tons of NOS parts ready to go....
actually the neat thing about a 3d printer is that you can print a bigger printer.

Need something designed and printed for your car?
I have worked with this fellow for over 3 years and he is excellent. He can take your project from concept to a actual part in a short time. One the part is designed, it can be printed repeatedly for less cost (no design fees).
his name is Vlad and he is trustworthy and reliable.
Here is his website"http://3davj.com/
Demister grills, small parts etc... he can design it all. A sample always is helpful or provide specs or a scan of the part. He can usually figure it out from there.
highly recommended.

Not a 3d printing item exactly, but I wish someone would CNC the base mounting piece for the sunroof mechanism - - You know, the one that ALWAYS cracks and breaks with stress around where the phillips screws attach it. Been through four of them over the years.
