good thread fram is garbage they come apart and clog up oil passages

 

they are just trash with good marketing. ill take a wix on everything.

 

I have always liked K&N filters. The nut on the bottom makes them extremely easy to remove when it's time for a change.

I also think that K&N filter out more than any other brand that i've used in the past. I did an oil change on my Impala and then put 2400 miles on it in 2 weeks, and the oil is still nice and clear. I've used Mobil 1 and Wix on the Impala, with the same exact oil in the crank case (Casterol Edge 5w20), and haven't experienced that.
