after a few months I think you may wish you kept the headlight covers BLACK on the two tone scheme.

maybe think hard about that one ............ or better yet , get a second set of covers now and paint both a red and black pair

 

A silver pin stripe going between the red and black would look great. I'd lose the side moldings too.

 

Side molding is in a pile and will not be going back on.


it is in second primer but still has a little body work to work out. A few more low spots showed up. I will see if I can get some pics today.

Won First place at a car show Saturday for Best Import.

The clear screwed up, it is still tacky today. WE are sanding it off and going to re-shoot it.

Very sad.

 

Forget the activator?

 

Not enough hardner in it.

It went back in the bay monday, hoping to get it done this week.

You ever hit the pull a part in Charlotte? do the 7's have anything left or picked clean?

 

In primer again.

 

What were you mixing the clear @ ? Most of the time it's 4 to 1 or even 3 to1 in some brands.

I added the wrong activator to some primer one time, it worked but it was hard to wetsand.
