after a few months I think you may wish you kept the headlight covers BLACK on the two tone scheme.

maybe think hard about that one ............ or better yet , get a second set of covers now and paint both a red and black pair

A silver pin stripe going between the red and black would look great. I'd lose the side moldings too.

Side molding is in a pile and will not be going back on.


it is in second primer but still has a little body work to work out. A few more low spots showed up. I will see if I can get some pics today.

looks great!!!!!!!!! cant wait to see the car siiting on the ground with tht efull effect!! still working on my car trying to figure the best way to fix teh rocker panels... both rusted out!! hopefully paint sometime this week!

The clear screwed up, it is still tacky today. WE are sanding it off and going to re-shoot it.

Very sad.

What were you mixing the clear @ ? Most of the time it's 4 to 1 or even 3 to1 in some brands.

I added the wrong activator to some primer one time, it worked but it was hard to wetsand.

"The car looked good"...

I have never done a two tone paint job.......Yet...
