My RX-7
I've been pushing my lil 12a to her hearts content lately. pulling burnouts in a great set of tires, a lil bit of neighborhood drifting (not sliding around a turn really really fast) and trying to go 80+ when the speedometer stops at 80 HA. She's still going to be leaving me in a few weeks for something new to mess with but i'm glad i'm getting the best out of her just so it hurts even more when i get rid of her. I was wodering has anybody put in one of those K&N filters in their 12a yet and does it do anything whatsoever to it? And yaaaaay for sideways

I have a k&n filter on mine, but I don't know if it's the kind you're asking about. I didn't get big horsepower gains out of the k&n element, but it's just one more thing that's supposed to help. It's very important to keep it clean.

I bought a K&N but haven't noticed any performance gains. I bought it more for the fact that I'll never have to replace it. Sure the stock paper filters are only $10, but that adds up over every year of replacing them.

(I realize this probably hurts performance because its just drawing in hot engine air, but I didn't have time to trim the k&n so the lid would fit.
