My '85 GS RX7
Wanted to share my new addition to the family.
These are the pics that the seller used on Ebay. I since have sanded it down with 1500 grit paper and polished it.
AC works now. Just a recharge is all it needed.
Needs new shocks. (really)It is a rough rider.
I am getting a new headlight assy for the right side. The bushings are messed up on the one installed.
Anyway.
Let me have it. Be cruel, be honest tell me what you think.
Thanks

I hope you didn't pay more than $10 for it....
Just kidding! Nice find, and welcome to the club. Take tons of pictures now, for later on when you modify it (believe me, you will) you will miss the stock appearance. I know I do.
From the pictures I would give it an 8.6/10

You are too generous. When I saw it I gave it a 5.8/10
When I picked it up I had a 7 in mind. The pics really hide away the oxidation on the paint. All that is gone now since the sanding. I will definetaly take pics for me and to share with the comunity.
Thanks

Driver seat is a lumbar Uncomfortable support. OMG is useless. At least for a shorty like me.
The pass seat is a tilt. I guess for accesing the right rear carrier box behind the seat.
I thought it was standard. Maybe I was wrong.
Can anyone confirm the seats are in fact RX7 seats?
Thanks

they look just like the ones in my GSL...hehe, it must be an 85 thing :P
all i know is that the access lever on the pass. seat sure comes in handy when you need to get your flat head screw driver out and make some quick adjustments ....specially if you're on the side of the road lol.

Yep, the lever is a cool thiong but the lumbar support on the drivers seat is super uncomfortable. I leave mine flat because I get back pains if I don't.

Lookt at my other posts for the engine flush and see how the engine was after I took it.
It is in very nice clean condition but just look for the motor flush product thread. You will be amazed.
Found it on ebay. for cheap too!!!
Thanks

As far as the rats nest I will have to remove it at some point since the last owner removed certain parts and now i will end up needing to remove the rest.
I am not sure how to do it. I already put the E-fan it and painted the radiator. The engine bay looks totally diferent now that it tdid before just with those two things done.
I also took off all the oxidation from the paint.
I will post pics this weekend for sure.
Thanks for the comments.
Juan
