TX My 83 Roxy

Well, after being on the board for a better part of 2 years i realised i had never even posted pictures of my baby.

Well she is an 83 gsl, silver exterior burgundy interior, otherwise know as Roxy. I bought her for $750 and drove her home. I then put on a stripped down nikki and an exhaust shop special long primary exhaust.

then i decided that I am going to paint her a nice red, so after searching around i decided on holley red as the color, and this pic is of the day i sprayed her.

then a local shop had a set of kosei k-1s for sale so i picked them up. i had also been tracking the car by this point and was in the process of upgrading to a racing beat spring/swaybar setup.
was running on some toyo ra1s that i got for free for a long time. and now i'm running nitto nt01's in 225/45R15 I also upgraded the shock to koni yellows out of an mr2 in the front, and tokico hps in the rear.

so far i have been fairly competitive out at the local track. only being beaten by 2 full out nasa spec race cars and drivers. car also got a wire tuck done, and has everything under the dash removed.waiting on a couple pieces to put the interior back together. also does not have sound deadening.

Well anyways, here's some recent pictures.

and here's some newer ones after a fresh wash

hope you guys enjoy

yup, sure did. first car i've ever painted and while it does look good, its a very forgiving color haha, there are little imperfections and i learned alot on what not to do when painting a car with this one.

and i pulled the engine out last weekend, going to drop in a half bridge 12a. I just finished cutting the ports so now i just going to clean up the runners and its ready to go back together.

Also pulled everything off the front end of the car, going to strip it down and paint it white. Reason being the old spray can engine enamel that is about a year old is not fairing well, so i have a gallon of white single stage taking up room so going to spray it with that.

Also cutting weight anywhere I can find it. i had stripped the wiring harness down, and now i'm debating on just starting from scratch with the whole harness and do it the way i want
