Check the videos in my signature link. No mountains here in Michigan, unfortunately, but I spent some time in North Carolina on the Tail of the Dragon. The video from the tail is just cruising with another 7, but still pretty cool.

I can't wait to get back down there for the Deals Gap Rotary Rally next Spring!

I don't drift but I enjoy a good run through the hills now and again.

Lots of hilly back roads around here that I like to hit up as much as I can, not a whole lot of drift action, too many uptight neighbors lol, and all the good roads for such things are kinda far away so I don't go there often, wish I could though, love drift....
Too bad there aren't more touge FB video's and pictures like the FC section has....

Not too many windy roads here in Southern Ontario, so a short drive (800 miles) to Deal's Gap North Carolina is a good remedy.

Well worth the drive! I even took the wife with me, drove the 7 down race suspension and all. She hardly even bitched! But nothing beats those roads, nothing at all....

It's so worth it that I did it two years in a row. I would go again this year, but to get there I'd have to push the car, and it was hard enough getting it into the driveway, nevermind 800 miles that includes Kentucky, Tennesee, and North Carolina.

Come on Chris. Stop your whining and man up. You have no choice but to attend again next year, and you know it!

I bought my 1st 1st gen on eBay. The car was in SC. The seller said it would make it back to MO so my neighbor and I jumped in my 2nd gen DD and headed out to pick it up. On the way back we drove through the Great Smokey Mountains. So there we were, a 1st and 2nd gen playing tag, darting in and out and through traffic, trading off between cars. In 40 years of driving, that was the most fun drive I've ever ever had. Now I want to go back with the widebody and see what it can really do with all the suspension, tire and brake upgrades it has, woot. Most likely I'd end up in jail, lol.

The deals gap rally will be in April Trochoid. You have to go. The cops were actually very cool, and didn't hassle anybody over speed, only if they went over the center line or passed on a double yellow. Lord knows I deserved to go to jail that weekend!
