Been looking for better options for a wide body. I can easily afford the kit from black dragon but I really hate how wide it appears and it looks like something from a star wars movie (no offense to you guys with it). Then there is the mariah kit. To me the front part looks too dated and tacky. Also with any kit out there, there is no provisions for the rear of the car.

So I have looked and looked and looked and think I have found a solution.

Notice the GP-1 kit:



Looks pretty good. Well the rear bumper cover needs tweaking anyway. I figure it can be folded and shaped to form something better but it IS a good platform to start off with.

Now take the Mariah mode1 Widebody


I like the fenders and quarters but once again that freakin ugly *** face on it.



So, after looking and looking and looking (keep in mind I cant look at my car for another month) I thought, "Wouldn't a GP-1 kit look good if it had the Mariah fenders and quarters. So I did some seaching and found out, "well yes they can fit together with a little kitty hair and resin it will look perfect"



So here I am a little more than a month away from getting home and I figure I would toss an idea out there to see who would like this idea. To make it look better I already have the flyingg whale tail and am doing some kind of FG hood to flow over my LS1 TB better.

Anyway, waht is your thoughts? I really think this has potential. now the side skirts can be tossed but that rear bumper is prime real estate for modification into something awesome.

 

Not sure if he sold it yet but there was a guy selling just the mariah rear in for sale section not too long ago.
