Makin' your own inside windows stickers
Makin' your own inside windows stickers
There was a member asking for 7/11 style Rx7 stickers and I thought others might like to learn how easy it is to make your own.
I redesigned the 7/11 logo with Photoshop and printed it on my Epson inkjet printer in reverse on Papilio clear adhesive vinyl. After the ink dries you have to spray the back with white acrylic or enamel paint and then cut it out to mount on the inside window.

If you could do that with your IMSA / GTU sticker, you could probablly make a little $$ on the side. Lots of people want those. The problem is, most everyone wants a specific year to match their car. I'd be happy with one that just lists the total number of championships accrued during that period.
I was fooling around at work and came up with this IMSA sticker facsimile that I think is true to the original but also improves upon it. Gonna go home and make another sticka!!!!
I have to experiment to get the right gold color .... The 1985 sticker does differ from earlier examples but you can clearly see the improved quality vs the scanned crude resolution of my purchased IMSA sticker replica.
