Louvers Question

I have the factory aluminum louvers on my car. They are missing the 2 metal bars that hold them up to clean the glass. I wanted to try and build new ones and had a few questions about them.

1. How long are the and what is the diameter?
2. How do they mount to the supports
3. What do the plastic tabs they snap into look like? (mine are broke off)
4. Can I get some good pics of them?

I've got a rear glass louver I'm trying to sell.
I also have pictures on my Facebook with it on my car. I'll post if I have time.

I'm really just looking for info on the bars that prop them up.

I wanted them because it is a pain to hold up the louvers and clean the glass at the same time.

I never clean my glass, Lol. I also didn't care for the louvers, that's why I took them off.
I'm sure you could make those stands really easily. In fact, you could make them whatever length you want too.

i can measure them for you if you like, but if i was you, I'd take a bar and extend it from the hole they mount in to almost the bottom of the louvers. the bars that they come with are too short. they're held in place with a clip that's mounted on there, also. you just snap them in place. the aren't very big around, smaller than a pencil.

Thanks Mr Miles, that would be great. Is there any way you could take pics of the bars?

if you look down there at the bottom it just does a 90 and goes through a hole, there is a groove but both of mine appear to be missing the clip, I'd just drill a hole through it and put a cotter pin in it, myself.
